Open MDP on ISO 26000 : CSR Guidelines

One day MDP was organized on 28th January 2012 at AIM Campus. This was an Open MDP conducted in partnership with NCRCL (NCR Consultants Ltd.). The topic of MDP was very recent, ISO 26000: CSR Guidelines.
We had participants form BHEL, SAIL, Reliance, ONGC and few private players. The moderator of this workshop was
Prof. JORDI GRIERA (member of Drafting Committee of ISO 26000) from Spain and Ms. Rekha Murali. Participants found the workshop enriching and were impressed with the concepts shared in the session.

An Inhouse MDP entitled “Social Media Marketing: Facebook the New Platform” was held at Select City Walk Group, Saket, New Delhi during 18-19 January 2012. The programme was attended by senior and middle level 12 executives from Marketing, HR and CSR Departments of Select City Walk Mall.
Some of the important topics were covered during the programme are Overview of Social Media Marketing, Facebook as a Marketing Platform, Tips and Tricks for SMM, Creating your Facebook Business Page, Using the Sponsored Ads for Marketing, Facebook Page Optimisation, Making your Website Booming on Facebook.
The sessions were delivered by Prof. Saurabh Mittal (Faculty- IT, Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi).

An open MDP entitled “Finance for Non-Finance Executives” was held at Deck Suite of Habitat World, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi during 22-23 December 2011. The programme was attended by senior and middle level 10 executives from IDBI Bank, RITES Ltd., DCM, BCL Securepremises Private Limited, and Lifelong India.
Some of the important topics were covered during the programme are Overview of Finance Money Sense; Accounting Concepts and process; Understanding financial statements; Analysis of Financial Statements; Cost Concepts; Cost - Volume – Profit Relationship and Decision Making; Capital Budgeting and Working Capital Management.

An open MDP entitled "Building Responsive Trade Union Leadership for Enhancing Global Competitive Advantages" was held at Hotel Ambassador, New Delhi during 22-24 November 2011. The programme was attended by 21 executives, trade union leaders and HR officials from different public sectors like IFFCO, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, NHPC Ltd., NMDC Ltd., NTPC Ltd., Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, REC Ltd., and Satluj Jal Vikas Nigam Ltd.
Some of the important topics were covered during the programme are Emerging Trends and Changing Role of Management & Union; Latest trends inJudicial Pronouncement in IR & Trade Union Area; Management of Trade Unions inemerging industrial scenario working together; Managing Trade Unions - the present situation; 75 Years of harmonious industrial relations of TISCO; Working Together; and Towards Positive Work Culture and Building Responsive & Responsible Trade Union/Management.
Besides AIM core faculty Prof. B D Singh, experienced professionals from industry, national trade union leaders and leading academicians were invited to share their experiences namely Mr. Michael Dias, Supreme Court Lawyer; Mr. R A Mittal, National Secretary HMS; Mr. S.K. Das, Tata International and Mr. S C Bajaj, Ex-Professor, V V Giri National Labour Institute.
