INFRASTRUCTURE
Our infrastructure is dynamic in nature because of our constant attempt to maintain pace with the development available to us. The infrastructure acts as a facilitator for the effective delivery of our curriculum.
PREMISES
AIM has impressive facilities for adding value to the learning experience of the students. The AIM's centrally air-conditioned campus has a friendly and enriching ambience offering all relevant facilities of high quality. The classes are commenced in new campus at Plot No. 3 & 4, Institutional Area, Jasola, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, with world-class intelligent facilities.

Lecture Theatres
Very high priority is attached to achieving optimal convergence of stimulating pedagogy and sensory comfort at Asia-Pacific Institute of Management. Consequently, dust-free and centrally air conditioned lecture theatres are maintained here. They are equipped with fixed overhead LCD projection system along with lapel microphone and public address system. Accordingly, the walls and ceilings are designed to achieve the best acoustic balance. Every lecture theatre is fitted with intelligent which boards. There are also several tutorial rooms for face-to-face interaction between the teacher and learner.
Computer Centre Back
Asia Pacific Institute of management has state-of-the art Computer Center with 300 high performance latest Pentium IV nodes along with 17' colour monitor & TFT's connected to high-end servers providing wired and wireless access to the campus network. The LAN is supported by network LASER printers with advanced software such as Windows 2003, XP-pro, SCO UNIX & Linux Operating Systems, compilers for languages like C, C++, JAVA, database management system like ORACLE, and other package like MS office, Visual Studio, SPSS & MS Project etc. AIM has also got a midrange system, IBM As/400, distant languages CL/400, RPG/400 and a distant database DB2/400.
The Institute's links to the rest of the world are through its own Internet facility via Leased Line.
Students use these labs to design and develop cross platform applications. From capture of media to production of CBTs and websites, AIM's Computer Lab has ample resources on both platforms for editing and creating content and authorizing multimedia for stand alone computers and delivery via the web. Students work in team to implement network design, solve network related problems and learn the fundamentals of operating an installation of networked computers.
Library
AIM library is one of the best managed library with a collection of over 18000 books on management and Information technology. Library is centrally air-conditioned with aesthetically designed reading rooms and stacks makes congenial environment for serious reading. To support high quality teaching and learning, library has full text access to over 3500 international journals through ABI/INFORM-Proquest database. Library also has subscription to various national and business news papers. Subscription to CMIE-Prowess,India stat database ICFAI online Journals enables our students and faculty to access Indian companies and their reports. All library functions are automated with OPAC spread across the campus to facilitate student and faculty to access library. All the library resources available on LAN which propagates the concept of

Hostel Facility
Residing in hostel provides students with the opportunity to experience living in a community dedicated to the academic and persona; development of individual members. Hostel accommodation is available to all the students. We have separate hostel facilities for girls and boys.
To provide environment conducive to academic and personal development, a code of conduct & corresponding norm are enforce for all residents of a hostel. |
