Competition to enhance awareness about the legal rights of women
On Tuesday, 28 th November, Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) conducted a competition in its premises to assess and enhance the awareness of its students about the legal rights of women in India.
The competition is part of the initiative started by the National Commission for Women to ensure that all sections of Indian society are well conversant with the legal rights of women, and the various stakeholders can also contribute to the successful implementation of these rights. The commission plans to conduct and sponsor similar competitions in colleges and universities across all states and union territories of India.
Our PGDM students participated in the competition with all zeal and fervor and turned out that they have a very good understanding of the issue; the competition further broadened their knowledge about the women rights. The event had duly been sponsored by the commission.
