| Research embodies the concepts of an in-depth, open-minded and systematic quest for knowledge. AIM believes that the search for knowledge is without end, and encourages continuous research so that new concepts, practices and solutions can be shared with industry for mutual benefit. The ideal mix of academic excellence and industry experience available with its faculty provides an environment where new ideas are regularly discussed and new research leads frequently generated. Many of the faculty members have already obtained Ph.D. degrees and others are carrying out doctoral research. Some others are working on independent or industry sponsored research themes. |
| Research Papers are regularly published in the in-house journal or in other reputed journals. Faculty members present papers at various seminars & conferences all over the country. The state-of-the-art library and the impressive on-line-journal base, provide the necessary infrastructure for the vigorous pursuit of knowledge at AIM. |
| Students are actively encouraged to imbibe the research spirit. The final project is a research project undertaken by the 2nd year students over the 4th and 5th trimesters, and involves rigid structured research work under the guidance of a faculty guide. The report submitted has to be defended in a viva conducted by external experts from industry and academics. |
