A booming and meaningful existence is built upon education, which offers understanding, insight, and the groundwork for creating a personal brand. We at the Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM), are dedicated to maintaining our standing as a preeminent provider of management education, and fully believe that encouraging friendly interaction with students and thought-provoking discussions serve as a prelude to the educational process, especially when we are creating the leaders of tomorrow.
Our institute specifically planned an ORIENTATION PROGRAM for first-year students enrolled in the PGDM COURSE as part of our commitment to assist our valued students at every turn. This comprehensive event commenced on August 18 and continued till August 23, 2023, in our institution’s Seminar Hall.
The program was done with great enthusiasm and received enthusiastic participation from distinguished guests of honor, insightful presenters, and committed audience members.
The bright day started with lamp lighting by our reputable chief guests accompanied by our noble Director Prof. (Dr) Rajesh Arora, and first-year students.
Soon the Hon’ble Director started addressing the program with a profound Sanskrit quote –
It would be appropriate to observe that the profound significance concealed within this precious object is that:-
“May the illumination of this sacred lamp bestow upon all, auspiciousness, good health, and prosperity. We revere the power that extinguishes malevolent sentiments, as the light of the lamp symbolizes the Absolute Brahman, Shri Vishnu, who sustains the world and life. We invoke the potency of this radiant light to dispel all that is uncharitable, and thus, we offer our obeisance to the lamp light.”
The kind words of Dr. Dinesh Kumar Likhi enlightened the students to a realistic dimension where he incorporated a feeling of great pride in being associated with AIM for a long period. He stated the significance of knowledge in one’s life, and that students have come to the temple of Maa Saraswati where they should do their best, study with dedication, and have a clear vision. Dr. Likhi asked the students to enhance their capabilities, understand technology well, and inculcate a sense of responsibility to sharpen their intellect. These characteristics, according to him, are undoubtedly the prerequisites to success and an impeccable career.
Mr. Deepak Chaudhary, a prodigious alumnus of AIM, graced the event with his zeal to motivate the students and elaborately interact with them. He advised the students to be ambitious and learn as much as they could, never let the desire to achieve more fade, and jot down where they fell and when they fought a challenge courageously. Not only an informative piece of advice, but his worldly knowledge was also unmatchable as he told the students to develop a confident personality and become fit in terms of mental and physical health.
Mr. Amit Prakash, a personality of unparalleled wisdom shared his lifelong learning with the first-year students such as – maintaining physical vigor to beat lethargy, always respecting elders, developing a character and attitude that is helpful to navigate you to better paths, and deciding what one wants to become in future? He asked the students to follow a purpose and develop passion while demonstrating a growth-oriented mindset.
A day dedicated to our bright past scholars (1996-2010) for an Alumni Talk, where they amicably shared highly insightful experiences, and how the new students can leverage their educational journey to the best of their capabilities.

He pitched the approach of “Observe, ask, learn, and follow as much as you can.” Mr. Arora asked the students to apply their knowledge otherwise it would go in vain. Moreover, he also talked about the revolution that AI has caused in the healthcare sector and prompted an example of beneficial government policies during the upsurge of the COVID-19 pandemic.
