QUALIFICATION A doctorate in Management, he holds Masters in Commerce with Management Specialization and holds university rank in Masters. He remained first class throughout his academic career. He has undergone trainings at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, US; World Bank Institute; NASME and Canadian Consortium of Management Schools. He has also undergone training in Balanced Scorecard Training Institute, US He is one of the early Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) conferred by All India Management Association and member of several professional bodies including AIMM (Australia).

AREAS OF INTEREST / SPECIALIZATION

Strategic Management and Business Planning, Organizational Restructuring, Cluster Development and Strategies, Management of TPOs and State Enterprises and allied areas.

WORK EXPERIENCE Serving for more than 25 years thru teaching, consulting, research and academic administration which includes four years of industry experience at middle level with MNC, three years in overseas university, he has widely traveled including UK, US and Asia Pacific on various academic assignments. He has lectured on Strategic Issues of the industry on various national and international forums and Associations. He has been faculty for a number of MDPs conducted for both policymakers and industry. He has implemented a three-year international project for SDC, Sweden in South-East Asia under South-South Cooperation. He has conducted a research study entitled, “Implications of EU and US GSP Rules of Origin on the Exports of Indian Textiles and Clothing Industry” for the Commonwealth Secretariat, UK. He has coordinated with SMEs at various levels on strategic issues. He also writes regularly on issues regarding the sector on National Dailies and Refereed Journals. He has conducted several seminars/workshops in for Industrial Clusters of India and Abroad. He has served as National Expert for UNIDO, Austria for their Innovation in Textiles Industry Project. He served as National Expert for the Evaluation Missions of UNIDO for their projects implemented in India. He has written many cases which were published and also carried out case analysis of various MNCs.

PUBLICATIONS He has two books to his credit. The one adapted book titled "Strategic Management & Business Policy" is published by Pearsons and "Working Capital Management" is published by Excel Books. He has several papers published to his credit which includes two occasional papers by IIFT.
