Eminent Dansuse and Dramatist Shovana Narayan to Perform at AIM Campus, New Delhi

Shovana Narayan, who is an internationally renowned danseuse and dramatist, will perform at Asia Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) campus in New Delhi on 16 March 2020. She will also address an exclusive audience at AIM and share her experience as a Padmashri Award and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award Winner as well as a multifaceted personality with immense contributions to society. Her presence at AIM is a momentous occasion for the institution where all stakeholders are looking forward to the event.

Ms. Narayan’s performances have great depth of emotion and are essentially based on Hindu philosophy and Hindi and Sanskrit literature. She pioneered the genre of dance enactments to philosophical themes with eminent philosopher, Prof Ramchandra Gandhi, who is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. She is a recipient of over 30 national and international awards, which include the Delhi Govt’s Parishad Samman, Japan’s OISCA Award, Bihar Gaurav Award and much more.

Ms. Narayan has a formidable academic pedigree with a D.Litt (HC), two MPhil degrees in Defence and Strategic Studies and in Social Sciences respectively and a Master’s degree in Physics. She has authored 15 books and written many articles for prestigious organizations like INTACH and UNESCO and many others. As a visiting lecturer in many universities across India and overseas, her lecture demonstrations and motivational workshops have proven to be extremely valuable.
