Guest lecture on Usage of Business Intelligence

A guest lecture on usage of Business Intelligence in Human Resource Management and other areas of management was held on 4th March, 2020 for students of PGDM batch. The guest speaker was Dr. Vinayak Drave, Ph. D from IIT Kanpur and currently a Faculty and Senior Research Associate in the area of Operations and Decision Sciences at Jindal Global Business School, O.P Jindal Global University. He also holds the prestigious position of Visiting Researcher at the Department and Graduate Institute of Business Administration, College of Management, Chaoyang University of Technology, Taiwan. His lecture benefitted the students regarding the various avenues of business analytics, practical application of data mining and machine learning. He shared his experiences in this field during the lecture. The students interacted with the guest faculty and the questions were answered by him. It was a thought provoking interactive session. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Bhartrihari Pandiya.
