The Industrial Visit was Organised for 1st and4th semester PGDM students. The students were taken to IFFCO head office which is located in Saket, New Delhi on 12 September 2023. Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited, also known as IFFCO, is a multi-state cooperative society. IFFCO is wholly owned by Cooperative Societies of India. The society is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of fertilizers. IFFCO is headquartered in New Delhi, India. We were well received by the staff of IFFCO at IFFCO gate and from there were accompanied to the auditorium. There Ms. Madhavi interacted with the students and tried to understand student’s perspective about the industry. It was followed by a tea break and small interaction of students with the employee. Mr. Santosh Shukla, Joint General Manager , took a session on Cooperative Governance; he discussed about 7 principles of Cooperatives, Journey of IFFCO, Its status in the industry and international, market. His session was followed by Q&A round. The q& A round was joined by the Director ( HR & Legal) IFFCO, Mr. Rajendra Singh . He resolved querries by students and also gave great management tips to students. He also threw light on the HR and Legal aspect of working in an organization. The industry visit to IFFCO was both informative and engaging, Providing students with valuable insights into cooperative governance in the agricultural sector. Interaction with the Mrs.Madhvi, Mr. Santosh Shukla and Mr. R.P Singh were particularly enlightening. The Q&A round facilitated a deeper understanding of IFFCO. Overall, this visit was a valuable learning experience for the students.
