Guest Lecture by International Dignitaries from Tillsonburg, Canada
In today’s globalized world, the possibility of career growth is limitless and chances of getting cross border success are very high. To get this kind of growth in one’s career, any individual or student must be multi-dimensional and also multi-faceted. To become, multi-faceted one must be dexterous in his field of work and also know other subject areas as well, especially the working styles followed in other countries. This includes the working culture and nature of other countries, how they get success and why they are more prosperous than us. We need some insights and thoughts from other developed countries as well.
To provide such international exposure, two very well renowned international personalities, Mr. Stephen Molnar, Mayor and Mr. Cephas Panshow, Development Commissioner, in the town of Tillsonburg Ontario, Canada, were invited for a guest lecture. Their objective was to share knowledge and insights with the students of AIM about how the Canadian government and private sectors work. On 22nd November 2019, this knowledge exchange session was held in the B B Verma Auditorium in the AIM campus. The session started with a detailed lecture of Mr. Stephen Molnar, who briefed students with the working style and culture of Canada and how to become successful managers, not only in their respective workspaces but also in life.
The next session was conducted by Mr. Cephas Panshow, who came with a proper presentation on Canada's history, geography, civics, and other details. Later, he held a question-answer session with the students based on his presentation and even awarded those who gave the correct answers.
This session helped in opening up the mind of our students and they were excited and thrilled by the presentation. The engaging personality of Mr. Panshow made a positive impact on the audience and he made sure all the students were attentive and enjoyed the session.
