PGDM Students at Asia-Pacific Visits Coca-Cola Happiness Factory
Industrial visits not only add tons of value to what a PGDM student learns at a management institute, but also provide a golden opportunity to build rapport with those already working and proving their mettle in the corporate world. And that’s why such visits are a crucial part of the management education that Asia-Pacific Institute of Management has been imparting since 1996.
One such industrial visit was recently arranged by the institute wherein a team of our PGDM students and their faculty visited the Coca-Cola Happiness Factory. Prof. Reema Chaudhury and Prof. Saurabh Mittal were the faculty who visited the happiness factory of Coca-Cola with the students.
The host at the factory showed the Asia-Pacific team around and introduced them to all the latest practices and principles (with a presentation) that Coca-Cola leverages to connect with people and stay upbeat despite stiff competition. It was a fully engaging and informative session and the students and faculty came back with lots of new information about the beverage giant, the beverage industry in general, and also a world of sweet memories of a day out.
