Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) has constituted a special Research Development Centre in its unique attempt to promote management research. The prime objective of this Centre is to elevate the standards of academic and applied management research. It also attempts to encourage meaningful contribution to the industry. Under the proficient guidance of Chairman, AIM; Director-AIM and Dr. Moon Moon Haque (Chairperson-Research), the Centre has pull together a group of nine researchers who have PhDs from top Indian institutions with diverse management backgrounds in the areas of HR, Marketing, Finance, International Business, Economics and Operation Research. The department encourages interdisciplinary and inter-institutional research. Researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry across the globe are welcome to undertake excellent collaborative research assignments with the Centre.
Aims and objectives of RDC
To improve the industry practices through research, training and consultancy programmes and thus, make a meaningful contribution to the socio-economic development of mankind. To serve as an intellectual resource base in northern India, maintain a standard of excellence in every aspect of business operation, and become a role model for newly emerging centers of quality research and development
