Takshila - Skills Development

SKILL DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION AT AIM

Asia Pacific Institute of Management (APIM) is a 21 years old management institute having some known industry names as its panel of experts. “Takshila - Center for Skill Development” is a project deployed by AIM, to contribute towards providing employability skills programs to the unemployed youth PAN India . Having a presence in more than 15 locations PAN India in conducting these programs has given APIM an added advantage of having a hands on ‘know how’ of multiple trades we offer in our basket of programs. As an academic institute, venturing into Skill Development was an added advantage as there was already an interface between the academia and the industry. Hence the very objective of ‘employability’ was never looked at as a challenge instead a Strength.
