What are the most important questions before PGDM admission?

Start with the total fee, immediate payment, refund conditions, programme and batch, eligibility, placement data, additional expenses and career opportunities. Ask for important answers in writing so they can be compared with other admission offers.

Should I ask whether the admission fee is refundable?

Yes. Ask for the applicable refund or withdrawal policy, including deadlines, deductions and conditions. Do not assume that an admission or seat-confirmation payment is refundable simply because a counsellor describes it as adjustable.

How should I ask about PGDM fees?

Ask for the complete academic fee for your exact programme and batch, the instalment schedule and included services. Then separately identify accommodation, food, travel, personal expenses, deposits and financing costs that may affect your total budget.

What should I ask about placement figures?

Ask which graduating batch and programme the figures represent, how many eligible students participated, which roles were offered and whether average or median compensation is reported. Also clarify whether figures combine multiple programmes or categories.

Should a counsellor's verbal promise be enough?

For a material financial or academic commitment, request written confirmation or the applicable official document. This is particularly important for fees, scholarships, refund terms, programme changes, deadlines and placement-related information.

What should XAT aspirants ask if they are comparing several colleges?

Use the same questions for every college: programme, fee, refund terms, curriculum, placements, roles, internships, financing and career fit. Consistent questions make differences easier to identify and reduce reliance on isolated promotional claims.

Can the lowest PGDM fee determine which college I choose?

Not by itself. A fee comparison should consider what each institution includes, additional costs, financing requirements, programme fit and relevant career opportunities. Comparing like-for-like costs provides a more meaningful basis for evaluating alternatives.

What should I do if a counsellor gives an answer I cannot verify?

Ask for the information in writing and check the applicable official document or webpage for your programme and batch. If the answer remains unclear, treat the issue as unresolved rather than assuming the most favourable interpretation.
