AIM Celebrates Its 21st Foundation Day
Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) celebrated its 21st foundation day on 9th of November, 2017. The day began with Diya lighting and Saraswati Vandana. The director of the institute, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Chauhan, delivered a very inspiring speech in which he remembered the early days of the institute and encouraged the students to be committed to their dreams.
Mr. Devashis Mukherjee from the Ramakrishna Mission, the chief guest at the event, spoke in length about the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, and how we can apply his ideas and philosophies in our lives and careers, and find peace within us.
We had also organized a blood donation camp where our students could come and contribute their bit towards social cause. The response was well beyond our expectations. This was followed by a lot of interesting and engaging events including rangoli competition, face painting, dancing and singing performances.
Beyond speeches and celebrations, we also took this opportunity to re-assess ourselves as a management institution and commit to keep delivering excellence in management education.
