Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR) is the hub of activities which drive the 3-I (Institute - Industry - Interface) initiative. CCR develops and maintains a close relationship with corporate through guest lectures, corporate get-togethers, industry visits and frequent interaction at both institute and student level.
The CCR arranges for the mandatory six-to eight weeks Summer Internship Program (SIP) in corporate houses for each student at the end of the first year. The CCR is also responsible for organizing final placement for the graduating students - a continuous process that effectively starts the day a student joins the institute.
The Institute witnessed vibrant placements for the 2017-19 batch with over 120 companies coming for recruiting our student managers. Some of the prominent recruiters include EY, Coca-Cola,Copal Amba, Moody's Analytics, Continental Tyres, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Decathlon, FedEx, Lloyd Ventures, Zycus Infotech, S&P Global, Jaguar Landrover, ITC, Loreal, Cavinkare, Berger Paints, Nestle, Jaro Education, Mercer Consulting, Protiviti Consulting, Ameriprise Financial, Byju’s etc .
Students are actively involved in the activities of CCR - which includes publication of placement brochure and other literature, interaction with recruiters, organising HR Roundtable, working out placement strategies & scheduling activities, maintaining resume banks, organizing industrial visits, speakers of eminence from industry etc. The exposure to this complex process helps to develop their Participative Managerial Effectiveness (PME).
An individual with a rich work experience of 19 years. This includes 14 years in practicing Human Resource concepts and skills with various corporate like – Luminous Group, GMR Group, Unicon Investments, FCS Software Solutions, and Convergys. His expertise include formulating strategies and policies for Organisational Change & Development, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Induction, Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Industrial Relations, Exit Management and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Last 5 Years; he has been contributing to Academia in bridging the gap with the industry by training students for Corporate Placements. Presently He is spearheading the Placement Department at Asia-Pacific Institute of Management. Prior to this assignment, He has been sharing his life experience by teaching subjects like - Organizational Behaviour, Managing Human Resources, Training & Development, Organizational Change & Development, Human Relation Skills, Business Ethics Leadership In organization with Christ University.
He is a Certified Train the Trainer. He has framed policies and Procedure for smooth functioning of Placement Department. He has organized various HR Events, Conclaves, Panel Discussion forums for the benefit of students and academic researchers. He has been an active member for Board of Governors (BOG) and Board of Studies (BOS) with Christ University and has attended various Faculty Development Programmes (FDP).He has received his Masters in Business Administration and gained his Bachelors in Commerce from Delhi University. He has imparted various trainings on Project Management Techniques, Team Building, Motivational Series, Emergency First Responder Training and Fire Warden Training for Corporate Level.
In his free time, he enjoys networking with HR professionals, delivering guest lectures, organizing cultural events and adventurous drive.
Mr. Gaur holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Masters in Business Administration. He has a rich work experience of 8.5 years with various organizations of repute. He is known for his good connection and networking skills with varied corporate and manufacturing plants.
He has been a key contributor in organizing various Industrial visits and corporate guest lectures. He is passionate about placing students across verticals.
